Brazil Visa

To obtain a passport valid for five years, the Brazilian citizen must attend in person at the Consulate-General or apply by mail. Passports cannot have their validity extended.

• Documents required:

  Brazilian ID card	in some cases, birth or marriage certificates may be accepted
  proof of fulfilment of electoral obligations (between 18 and 70 years of age)	or proof of residency in Australia
  proof of fulfilment of military obligations	only for male civilians, between 18 and 45 years of age
  birth certificate	only for persons under 18 years of age
  authorization, from both parents	only for persons under 18 years of age

• Fees:

  Fees are payable only by deposit at the ANZ Bank to Branch nº 012172 - Consulate-General of Brazil account nº 1089-12845. Please ask the teller to add your date of birth (6 digits) as reference (agent) number in order to identify your deposit. The original of the deposit receipt must be provided. Transfers by the Internet are acceptable and a printed receipt must also be presented with the lodgment of the application form.
