Barbados Passport Requirements
Barbados passports are issued for a period of five (5) years and are renewable for a further five (5) years. (Maximum life of passport is ten (10) years).
- New Passports (for previous passport holders)
- Three (3) photographs taken full face, one of which must be certified (See Section 3 on application form)
- Present Passport
- Original Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
- Original Divorce Decree (if applicable)
- Fee: US $50.00
- Postage US $4.00 in stamps OR a self addressed stamped envelope
- Renewals
- Present Passport
- Fee: US $40.00
- Postage: US $4.00 in stamps OR a self addressed stamped envelope
- Passports issued less than ten (10) years ago will be renewed for a further five (5) years from original date of issue.
Holders of British Passports issued on behalf of the Government of Barbados prior to November 30, 1966; those who have never had a passport and for citizens by Naturalisation, Registration or Descent
- Three (3) photographs taken full face, one of which must be certified
- Original Birth and Baptism Certificates
- Original Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
- Original Divorce Decree (If applicable)
- Original Naturalisation, Registration or Descent Certificates (as appIicable)
- Fee: US $50.00
- Postage US $4.00 in stamps OR a self addressed stamped envelope
N.B.: All Application forms Must be certified.
Persons born outside of barbados of barbadian parentage must be recognised as citizens before a barbados passport can be issued. Contact the consulate for appropriate forms.
- Lost Passport
Incidents must be reported to the nearest Police Station for issue of a report in support of the application for a new passport.
Only cash, money orders or certified cheques accepted.
